Ellen Baxter was born in 1834 in Lincoln. She and Thomas Licquorice were married on 28 October 1857 in St Mary's, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire. Ellen Baxter was also known as Ellen Licquorice. She appeared in the census in 1911 in Wisbech which shows Ellen aged 73? widow living with her Nephew John James Baxter aged 56 a Mattress Maker.

Abraham Licquorice was born in 1859 in Whittlesey. He and Mary Elizabeth Pentelow were married. He died on 26 December 1937, at age ~78, in Wisbech. Abraham Licquorice was an Aggricultural Labourer in 1881. He was a Farmer in 1891. He appeared in the census in 1891 with wife Mary E 33 yrs, two children and three servants. Joseph Burton 22, Harry Anther 16, Elizabeth Uff 14. He appeared in the census in 1911 in Park Farm, Tydd St Giles, shows Abraham aged 51, farmer and grazier, married for 23 years with 3 children all surviving. Mary Wife aged 53, Mary Elizabeth aged 22,Abraham aged 21, Harriet aged 15. Also living at farm where James Gilbody Boarder, farm labourer,16. Thomas Thornton, Servant aged 17 and Sarah Godfrey 26 a servant. They had 12 rooms. He made a will in 1937 Probate to Abraham and Frances Wilson effects £11,389-13s.

Thomas Licquorice was born in 1868 in Whittlesey. He and Mary E Oldfield were married in 1888. He died in 1945, at age ~77, in Downham Death Index gives age of 78 in June Qtr 1945. Thomas Licquorice appeared in the census in 1901 at Stow Fen, aged 33 a Farmer, wife Elizabeth 30 bn Whittlesea, George William 10, Joseph 9, Thomas 7, John James 6, Maud Mary 4, James 2 and Hilda May 5 months. He appeared in the census in 1911 in Coates Farm, Outwell, Wisbech, shows Thomas a Farmer aged 43 married for 23 years with 11 children 10 surviving. Wife Mary E 41, George William aged 20, single Farmers son, Joseph aged 19 single farmers son, Thomas agedf 17 single farmers son, Jack(John James) aged16 farmers son, Maud M aged 14 farmers daughter dairy work, James aged 12 scholar, Hilday May aged 10 scholar, Ivy Ellen aged 9 scholar, Abraham aged 7 scholar, Lilly M aged 5 scholar. Also Ellem Manning servant aged 53 married. They had 10 rooms.
